The World’s Greatest Flower Show

Each May, the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea are transformed into something that is genuinely difficult to describe to someone who has not seen it. Over five days, more than 168,000 visitors from across the world make their way through the gates to see the finest garden designers, horticulturalists and makers working at the very top of their craft.

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been held at the Royal Hospital Chelsea since 1913. What began as a gathering of growers and garden enthusiasts has become the definitive showcase for innovation in outdoor living. The British obsession with gardens finds its grandest annual expression.

It is, by any measure, the right place for us to be!

Chelsea Flower Show 2026: What to Expect

This year’s show runs from Tuesday 19 to Saturday 23 May 2026. The first two days are reserved exclusively for RHS members, with the show opening to the public from Thursday, 21 May.
The 2026 edition is shaping up to be one of the most compelling in recent memory, with themes of innovation, nature recovery and the future of outdoor design running throughout. Among the most anticipated gardens this year:

The Campaign to Protect Rural England Garden: On the Edge – Sarah Eberle, the most decorated designer in Chelsea history, returns from Show Garden retirement to celebrate Britain’s overlooked edge lands and the countryside at the margins of towns and cities.

The Tate Britain Garden – Tom Stuart-Smith offers a preview of the forthcoming Clore Garden at Tate Britain, bringing together art, nature and biodiversity in a space designed for community and public life.

The RHS and The King’s Foundation Curious Garden – Designed by Frances Tophill, with Sir David Beckham and Alan Titchmarsh joining the project to encourage a new generation to discover the joy of gardening.

The Eden Project: Bring Me Sunshine Garden – Marking the Eden Project’s 25th anniversary, Harry Holding and architect Alex Michaelis bring a spirit of optimism and ecological ingenuity to the show ground.
Beyond the headline gardens, the Great Pavilion will once again house the extraordinary floral displays and specialist growers that make Chelsea as much a sensory experience as a design showcase.

Show opening times:

Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 May: 8 am – 8 pm (RHS Members only)
Thursday 21 and Friday 22 May: 8 am – 8 pm (open to the public)
Friday 22 May: Evening session 5.30 pm – 10 pm
  Saturday 23 May: 8 am – 5.30 pm

Tickets must be purchased in advance and typically sell out well ahead of the show. Visit the RHS website for availability.

Chesneys at Chelsea 2026

Find Us at Stand PW225

Chesneys has been part of the Chelsea Flower Show for many years, and 2026 marks our most significant appearance to date. This year, we are using the occasion to introduce a brand new outdoor wood burning stove to our collection, the SL.

We have long believed that the garden deserves to be treated as seriously as any room in the house. The best outdoor spaces are not left to go cold when the evening draws in. A well-designed outdoor stove does for a garden what a fireplace does for a living room: it extends the hours you spend in it, and it gives the space a warmth and atmosphere that no other element can quite replicate.

The three stoves we are presenting at Chelsea this year are the Clean Burn XL, Clean Burn ML and the Clean Burn SL. Each has been designed to sit naturally in a considered outdoor setting, from a formal walled garden to a contemporary terrace, and each burns sustainably sourced wood with the efficiency and cleanliness that Ecodesign certification demands.

What You Will See on the Stand

You will find all three stoves working at the temperature, which we consider the only honest way to present a heating appliance. Seeing a stove alight, feeling the quality of its radiant heat and observing how it transforms an outdoor space – these things do not come across on a specification sheet.

Our team will be on the stand throughout the show to discuss the new range in detail: fuel types, output, installation requirements, positioning and pairing with different garden styles. Whether you are planning a new build, reworking an existing terrace or simply ready to make better use of a garden that currently goes unused after dark, we welcome the conversation.

We are also happy to discuss our full range of indoor fireplaces and stoves for anyone considering how the inside and outside of their property might work together.

Come and Find Us

Stand PW225 – we are there from the first day to the last, and the stoves will be lit throughout.

If you are attending as an RHS member on Tuesday or Wednesday, or as a public visitor from Thursday onwards, we would be glad to see you.

Chesneys has been designing and engineering fireplaces and stoves for over thirty-five years. Our showrooms in Chelsea and Edinburgh are open year-round for anyone who would like to see our full range working at the right temperature.

Chesneys at Chelsea: A Returning Presence

Chesneys has exhibited at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for 10 years, and our relationship with the show has grown alongside our thinking about what outdoor living can and should be.

Our earliest appearances at Chelsea were built around hybrid cooking and outdoor heating appliances. The response from visitors confirmed something we had long believed: that the people who take their gardens seriously are the same people who take their interiors seriously, and that the two conversations belong together.

In 2022, we decided to focus exclusively on outdoor heating following the strong consumer response to this aspect of our hybrid cooking/heating appliances and introduced our first heat only model. This was hugely popular and over the next three years we refined that clean burn technology and range of products leading to this years show offering of three different models of outdoor log burners, all as efficient and clean as each other. It remains one of the moments the team talks about most. Each year we return with something we have not shown before, and each year Chelsea reminds us why it is the right place to show it.
The audience – knowledgeable, unhurried, genuinely engaged with quality – is unlike any other we encounter.
