A handsome late 18th century English mantel in Italian Statuary marble with moulded corniced mantel shelf supported by a cavetto moulding above an entablature comprising a finely carved projecting centre tablet depicting a classical maiden playing a lyre and flanked by stop fluted frieze panels.
