The Toulon

The Toulon is the most decorative fire surround in the collection. It displays a finely carved central frieze tablet featuring ribbon tied bay leaves and crossed quivers. The flanking frieze panels and pilasters feature vertical stop flutes, the latter terminating in corner blocks carved with rosettes.
