The Milo in Portoro Gold

The Milo is a fire surround of substantial proportions that features an elegant bolection moulded frame elevated above canted block feet.

This marble has been used since Roman times, but its export outside Italy only began in the early 19th century. The very best Portoro displays a bright black base colour with intense gold veins running through it.
