Period fireplaces can transform a room, adding a historical dimension to its design or complimenting a period style room.

For nearly 40 years we have restored antique fireplaces at our London workshops. This is a painstaking exercise requiring an extraordinary level of skill and expertise and there can be no compromise in the process. The same rigorous approach has inspired the development of our range of historic reproductions over the years, allowing today’s homeowners to experience the ornate beauty of period fireplaces.

Our craftspeople pride themselves on creating perfect imitations of some of the most iconic architectural styles from the 18th century onwards. Working from photographs, magazine cuttings, sketches and drawings, the period fireplaces we create breathe new life into classic fireplace and chimney designs for both private and commercial commissions. 

Drawing inspiration from French, Italian, and British creativity, our collection of period fireplaces honours the distinct design styles of architects from various ages, capturing the unique flair and embellishment characterised during each time period – from the freedom of the Victorian age to the simplicity of the Queen Anne period. 

The fireplaces in our collection are exact copies of antique originals, recognised by conservation bodies worldwide for their authenticity. Whether we are carving a museum quality facsimile of an Adam chimneypiece or reproducing a modest Victorian bedroom fire surround, every aspect of the detail will be faithfully replicated.
